    PRODUCT DETAILS

    This basic katana is a great option for both new and seasoned collectors. Featuring a shinogi zukuri blade forged from 1045 steel, there is an artificial gunome hamon with a bohi present to reduce the overall weight of the sword and improve its point of balance. The blade is then secured to the hilt with one mekugi.

    Although highly affordable, the alloy tsuba, fuchi, and kashira has elaborate designs while the seppa and habaki are made of brass. The Haichi style tsuka are covered with white samegawa and wrapped with artificial silk ito. The katana comes sheathed in an oil lacquered saya mounted with alloy shitodome and thick sageo.
