PRODUCT DETAILS

Rapiers came in many different variations based on their area of origin. This particular model is a replica of a Brandenburg Rapier, a part of Germany known for its lavish fencing sword models, which this sword fully respects.

The sword is crafted from 1065 high carbon steel, known for its toughness and ability to flex. It is fully unsharpened and is used for training purposes. The blade features a marked and decorated extended ricasso near the guard that aids in its balance.

The guard is the iconic rapier swept hilt style, made out of metal, and effectively protects the user's hand. The grip is made out of natural horn, which may come in slightly different colors on each product since it is a natural material. It is twisted, which aids in gripping the sword and was a very popular model in Brandenburg.

The sword comes with its own leather scabbard for safekeeping and easier carriage.
