Hanwei Godfred Viking Sword – 9th Century Nordic Design

Aptly named, Hanwei's Godfred Viking Sword pays tribute to the ninth century Danish King, famed for halting the extension of Charlemagne's empire. Also known as Gudfred or Göttrick, he was involved in intense Danish - Carolingian warfare.

To replicate pre-9th century originals, this blade is forged from folded steel to feature a beautiful pattern. Due to the blades deep fullers and tapered design, it has superb balance. The blade is secured to a handle with interwoven leather grip and complemented by a Damascus guard and pommel. The overall look is complemented with a leather covered wood scabbard with bronze detailing and integral belt hooks.
