Shadow Dancer Black Shobu Zukuri Wakizashi

Shadow Dancer's Shobu Zukuri Wakizashi is a piece that exemplifies the beauty of Japanese blades. Featuring a shobu zukuri (curved with shinogi close to mune, without yokote) blade forged from crucible steel and clay tempered, the result is a durable blade with excellent edge retention and an elegant suguha (relatively straight) hamon accentuated by Sashikomi polishing.

Mounted in the shirasaya style, this wakizashi is devoid of most fittings with the exception of a copper habaki. The Haichi style tsuka and scabbard are both black and oil lacquered .

Slight variations may be present as this wakizashi is handmade.
