Vergil’s Yamato Katana Devil May Cry 5 1095 Steel Sword

This functional Japanese Katana sword is based on and bears similarities to the edged weapon used by Vergil in the Devil May Cry Series. Known as the "Yamato Sword," it is made from hard 1095 high carbon steel that has been historically and appropriately clay tempered. This process yields a harder edge of approximately 60 HRC, ideal for slashing, along with a genuine choji (a specific type of pattern) hamon.

The blade has been polished with a hazuya stone, resulting in a stronger mirror shine, and is also full tang. The sword's handle is wrapped in rayskin, enveloping the wooden core, and incorporates a leather tsuka-maki for improved handling. The hardwood scabbard is complemented by a robust matte coloring. Fittings of the sword are crafted entirely from brass, featuring emblems of the DMC world set against a dotted background.
