Shadow Dancer Modern Tactical Katana Sword – 5160 Spring Steel Blade

Engineered for the field, not for the display case, Shadow Dancer’s Modern Tactical Katana is built to perform outdoors.

Forged from 5160 spring steel, the shinogi zukuri (ridge line runs along the blade’s length on both sides) blade is perfect for practitioners of any level due to its resilience, flexibility, and shock resistance. Heat treated and oil quenched, the 58 HRC hardness blade with its tactical polish is ready to take on any scenario. A bohi trims off any excess weight and pulls the point of balance toward the hilt, allowing for a more lightweight and agile weapon.

A brass tsuba and habaki are chosen for their rust and corrosion resistance. Secured with two mekugi, the non-detachable handle is molded from high-strength engineering plastic with a diamond grid texture for a no-slip grip in any weather. Compared to traditional wood and samegawa handles, it is virtually maintenance free.

This katana comes with a black lacquered saya with paracord sageo for functional versatility.

**Also available as a tanto or wakizashi. The Tactical Daisho Set includes all three.**
