Shadow Dancer Modern Tactical Wakizashi Sword – 5160 Spring Steel Blade

Compact and agile, the Tactical Wakizashi is a dependable companion for close-quarters use or fieldwork where maneuverability is key. 

Forged from 5160 spring steel, heat treated, and oil quenched, the resulting 58 HRC hardness shinogi zukuri (ridge line runs along the blade’s length on both sides) blade has superior shock resistance, resilience, and flexibility, making it the perfect companion for any practitioner. The addition of a bohi trims off excess weight while keeping structural integrity and moves the point of balance toward the handle, improving the sword’s agility and responsiveness. 

This wakizashi comes equipped with a brass tsuba and habaki, chosen for their resistance to rust and corrosion. The non-detachable handle made from high-strength engineering plastic features a diamond-grid pattern for a non-slip weather-resistant grip in any condition. Two mekugi further pin the full tang blade, adding security and peace of mind to the overall construction. 

A black lacquered scabbard with paracord sageo completes the overall ensemble.
