Ronin Katana Dojo Pro 1060 Steel Tanto #4 (Red)

The tanto is a traditional Japanese dagger that once served a ceremonial weapon of the samurai. Besides bring used as a self defense weapon, it was also given as a protective talisman to Japanese brides and newborn babies.

Forged from 1060 steel and through hardened, the Dojo Pro #4 Tanto from Ronin Katana is a vivid looking sword. Mounted in the Hamidashi style, this tanto has a small tsuba (guard) and gold colored habaki (blade collar), seppa (washer), and menuki (decorative ornament). The tsuka is wrapped in black same (rayskin) and the tsukamaki uses red ito (handle wrap). The saya is glossy black and lacquered. The red sageo of this tanto ties in the overall design.
