Dragon King Folded Kinryu Katana Dragon Horimono

Setting a new standard in the industry, Dragon King's Kinryu Katana #1 is a testament to their craftsmanship. Under the direction of their founder, Frenchie Jin, this sword is one of the newly forged and folded katana using the best materials with painstaking attention to detail.

The first in a series of limited edition katana, it has an intricately engraved dragon motif folded steel blade forged with T10 alloy and 9260 high carbon steel, ensuring superior resilience, strength, and edge retention. This beautiful design is then accentuated by the pronounced hada and midareba (irregular) hamon.

Additionally, this katana comes equipped with a blackened kaku maru gata (square with rounded corners) tsuba featuring an elaborately carved shishi with gold details to symbolize protection, prosperity, and success. Other fittings such as the fuchi and kashira also feature motifs that complement the sword's overall design.

The wooden tsuka is first covered in genuine black samegawa before it is wrapped using brown silk tsuka ito. This exquisite katana comes sheathed in a deep gold saya with featuring black lacquered rattan wrap at the opening. This scabbard also comes with real buffalo horn koiguchi, kurigata, and kojiri.
