Shadow Dancer High Performance Katana 5160 Steel

This High Performance Katana from Shadow Dancer is an exquisite and elegant piece with a shinogi zukuri blade forged from 5160 Spring high performance steel. Although the blade has an artificial hamon, it features a real yokote and bohi that helps to reduce the overall weight of the sword and improve its point of balance.

The sword comes equipped with an iron maru gata (round) tsuba and gold colored brass fuchi and kashira with elaborate motifs. The rest of the koshirae including the menuki, seppa, and habaki are all made of brass. The Haichi style tsuka is first covered with genuine white samegawa and wrapped in artificial silk ito. The overall design is then completed with an oil lacquered saya mounted with brass shitodome and thick sageo.
