Iaito Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Blade

This is an Iaito sword that possesses the same attributes and characteristics as a traditionally made Samurai Katana, with the exception that it's unsharpened, blunted, and ideal for safe usage. This specific training sword is constructed and forged from 1060 high carbon steel, treated with proper heat, and oil quenched. It features two sets of pegs to increase overall balance and stability.

The blade of this Iaito has been polished to a mirror-like shine and is distinguished by two sets of bohi (grooves). This makes it lighter and produces a feedback sound known as tachikaze (slashing sound). Its fittings are brass and copper, adorned with carvings of samurai warriors wielding weapons. The handle is made in traditional style: a wooden core wrapped with rayskin and a cotton tsuka-maki wrap, while the scabbard flaunts a matte coloring. This sword is highly suitable for beginner Iaido practitioners, can be disassembled for maintenance, and includes a free sword bag.
