Iaito Katana Sword for Training

This Iaito sword shares the same characteristics and traits as a real Katana, except it is unsharpened, blunted, and designed for use by Japanese sword trainees. A golden theme featuring the Japanese sea wave symbolizes good luck, aiding practitioners on their samurai sword journey. Crafted from 1060 high carbon steel, it's been carefully polished, heat-treated, and oil quenched for hardness.

The tang boasts double mekugi (pegs) for additional stability, while its wooden handle features a leather tsuka-maki wrap over rough rayskin for improved handling. Its scabbard, wooden and lacquered, provides a shiny reflection. Offering real Katana balance during swings, this Iaito also incorporates bohi (grooves) to produce the tachikaze (slashing sound). It features a unique square tsuba (guard) and can be fully assembled or disassembled. Ideal for safe Iaido, this sword comes with a complimentary sword bag.
