    This is a replica of a short Irish dagger that would have been carried by brave Irish warriors and mercenaries known as the Gallowglass. It is a historically accurate reproduction of a 16th-century dagger, featuring an authentic Irish ringed pommel and a large, wide cruciform handguard for added protection.

    Crafted from 5160 high carbon spring steel, this short sword/dagger offers excellent durability, flexibility, and improved resistance to rust and corrosion. The larger-than-average wooden grip is tightly wrapped in leather for a secure hold, while the straight, untapered blade is designed for both cutting and thrusting. Battle-ready and functional, this Irish dagger also includes a scabbard for protection and storage.

    Double-edged daggers/dirks cannot be shipped to MA or NJ (sale restricted), and carry is limited in some states (CA, CT, NM, NC, OR, RI, VA, WA). Please check your local laws before ordering.
