    PRODUCT DETAILS

    This Musashi Katana by Paul Chen is inspired by Miyamoto Musashi, one of the most famous sword masters in Japanese history. Also known to be a writer, philosopher, and strategist, he has an undefeated record in 61 duels, resulting in many acknowledging him as a kensei of Japan.

    Featuring a full blade forged from T10 steel and clay tempered, the sword features a distinctive hamon with an edge hardness ranging from 58 to 62 HRC and a back hardness of around 38 to 42 HRC.

    Secured to the tsuka with two mekugi, the sword is equipped with a double ring iron tsuba. This battle ready blade designed for either tameshigiri or as a display piece has a wooden tsuka covered in white samegawa and the tsukamaki uses black leather ito. The overall formidable appearance of this katana is complete with a black wooden scabbard with black sageo.
