    The NiuWei Dao or Oxtail sword is one of the Chinese broadswords that were invented as a slashing weapon against unarmored enemies. Named after the broad shape of its blade, this sword from the late Qing Dynasty is one of the most popular swords used by martial artists today.

    JKOO's NiuWei Dao is inspired by the classic designs from the past. Forged from folded steel and differentially hardened for cutting and practice, this sword's blade length is made to be longer than usual. The fully functional blade is mirror polished by hand to accentuate the grain. The piece is complemented with hand carved brass fittings, a rose wood scabbard, and black silk bag.

    Customizations for this NiuWei Dao are available upon request.
