    Our Practical broadswords are designed to cater to the needs of re-enactment and stage combat, while maintaining authentic styling. Crafted from 1566 high-carbon steel, these affordable weapons feature fully tempered un-edged and un-pointed blades, ensuring durability and safety. The blades are fullered for balance and handling, with rounded tips and 1/16" wide edges for added safety. 

    The substantial tangs have radiused corners and no welds, securely riveted to the pommel. The leather-covered hardwood grips offer a comfortable hold. The scabbards, made of glass-filled resin, prevent swelling and minimize blade corrosion. 

    The wood-grain finish can be customized by re-enactors. Based on the Marshall sword, the Practical Single-Hand Sword showcases a cruciform hilt, wheel pommel, and a ridged-and-fullered blade that is both sturdy and lightweight, weighing less than 2 ½ lbs.
