    The Practical Basket-Hilt Broadsword is designed specifically for re-enactors. While the basket hilt is identical to the edged version (SH2002), the blade is unsharpened and features 1/16" safety edges and rounded tips, adhering to the combat rules of various re-enactment societies. 

    Hanwei crafts the blade from 1065 high-carbon steel, hardened to 50HRC, balancing edge-notching reduction, resilience, and protection against brittleness. The matte black scabbard is ready for customization by the owner, allowing for a personalized touch.
