Hanwei Zatoichi Stick/Sword, Red Saya with Etched Hamon

This is the Zatoichi Stick Sword, named after the legendary blind samurai. It is a version coming in red color that has an ancient Japanese straight single-edged folded in a traditional and authentic manner. The result is a beautiful grain pattern known as hada accompanied by a lively hamon (temper line) as a result of the blade's clay tempering process.

This Chokuto comes in a shirasaya design without the presence of fittings. The hardwood housing the 62 Mn spring steel blade and its hilt is lacquered for a shiny effect while staying true to swords wielded by Zatoichi. This blade is ideal for decoration or tameshigiri (cutting practice), bringing Zatoichi's cinematic adventures to life.
