This single-edged and lightly curved Qing Dao sword embodies many historical elements of Qing dynasty (1644-1911) blades, complete with a beautifully serrated spine. It is constructed from forged pattern welded steel with an authentic clay temper, differentially hardening the edge for powerful cutting attacks.

The blade, crafted from carbon steel, boasts a genuine hamon line and a groove, combinations that lighten its weight, provide sound feedback during slashing, and enhance handling. Fittings of copper and brass accompany an Ebony wood scabbard, further adorned by a golden-colored cord wrapped around the handle and a traditional tassel.
