Dragon King Quiet Hana Katana Warrior Piece

A piece that embraces Japanese minimalism, Dragon King’s Quiet Hana Katana has a design rooted in Zen Buddhism, a reminder to find beauty and inner peace in simplicity.

Its shinogi zukuri (ridge line runs along the blade’s length on both sides) blade is forged from T10 steel—an alloy that is strong and ensures improved edge retention—and undergoes differential heat treatment to produce a hard, sharp edge with flexible spine. This process also yields a stunning gunome (wave-like) hamon that accentuates the katana’s overall aesthetics. 

This katana comes mounted in premium blackened fittings—including a mokko gata (lobed shaped) tsuba with sakura motifs. In samurai culture, cherry blossoms symbolize bravery, integrity, and serve as a reminder to live life to the fullest.

The wooden core handle is covered in white samegawa and wrapped tightly using black tsuka ito. This piece is lastly completed by a black lacquered scabbard with matching sageo.
