    The Sakabato or Reverse Blade Katana is a fictional sword depicted in pop culture, capturing the interest of many sword collectors. This has led to many contemporary blade smiths to craft quality sakabato, comparable to the Japanese Katana. The Sakabato is most recognized in Rurouni Kenshin, along with the nichirin blades from the popular anime Demon Slayer.

    This Sakabato Katana is forged from T10 steel and mirror polished by hand to reveal a prominent hitatsura style hamon, where portions of the spine and shinogi-ji are hardened to produce a chaotic but beautiful hamon. This is a full tempered blade with spots of tobiyaki (hardening spots on the blade or spine of the sword). Equipped with Musashi fittings and a black saya (scabbard), it is a piece worthy of any collection.
