Samurai Katana Snake Koshirae Clay Tempered

This Japanese Katana sword protects its wielder from any illness, catastrophic disaster, or any type of bad fortune thanks to the motif it bears of "hebi" - the Japanese snake or serpent symbol. It's made out of quality 1095 high carbon steel, crafted in a maru (single steel) method to increase its slashing power while maintaining a harder edge and a genuine hamon due to traditional clay tempering.

The Katana features a double-pegged full-tang blade, hand-polished with a hazuya stone for stability and shine effect, and no bohi (grooves) for increased impact when slashing. The wooden handle is tightly wrapped with real rayskin and a silk tsuka-maki cover, allowing a very firm grip. The scabbard is constructed from quality hualee wood, preserving its natural and untouched color, paired with brass and copper fittings. Depending on its sharpness levels, this Katana is ideal for practical tameshigiri (cutting tests) or safe Iaido training.
