Hanwei Taza Main Gauche – Spanish Style Parrying Dagger

This Taza Main Gauche is crafted in the Spanish style, emphasizing a stronger focus on defense while featuring highly detailed and extravagant decorations. These daggers, used in post-Renaissance Europe, were paired with a rapier in duels to act as blade stoppers. We offer the same style style when combined with the Taza Rapier (SH2035).

The dagger features a double-edged, straight, file-worked blade with an unsharpened, thick, and wide ricasso near the hilt. The blade's robust design is intended to counter and catch enemy blades effectively.

The hilt boasts a long, slim crossguard that extends on both sides, culminating in a large protective half-basket made of steel with intricate see-through decorations.

It comes with its own leather scabbard and a belt frog, making it easy to carry whether for practical use or as a cosplay accessory.
