Shadow Dancer Unokubi Zukuri S5 Steel Tameshigiri Katana

Shadow Dancer's Unokubi Zukuri Tameshigiri Katana is an elegant and visually striking piece. Featuring an unokubi zukuri blade (similar to kanmuriotoshi zukuri, with blade narrowing down like a cormorant's neck where the back portion is thinned out, but kissaki part is untrimmed) forged from S5 steel, this super sharp mirror polished blade is tough and has high shock resistance.

This beautiful katana comes with premium koshirae such as the elegant maru gata (round or circular) tsuba, fuchi, kashira, and menuki with flower motifs. Other fittings include the gold colored habaki and seppa.

For the handle, the wooden tsuka is first covered with white samegawa and tightly wrapped with tsuka ito to give it a firm and comfortable grip during tameshigiri. This piece is then completed by a glossy red saya and a sageo that complements the overall design of the sword.
