Winter Sun Katana Functional Cut

Inspired by the darkest days of the year, the Winter Sun Samurai Sword by Dragon King mirrors the cold reality in the katana's design with blackened koshirae (fittings) that contrast with the white handle.

Forged from 5160 high carbon steel bade that has been through tempered, the geometrical blade has a 1.5 inch kissaki (blade tip) that is designed for cutting soft and semi hard targets without sustaining damage. The blackened tsuba (guard, fuchi (hilt collar), and kashira (pommel cap) is distinctly visible against the genuine white same (rayskin) covering the tsuka (handle). The katana comes sheathed in a black textured lacquered saya (scabbard).
