Windlass Sgian Dubh

Sgian Dubhs were daggers traditionally carried by the Scottish Highlanders, either tucked secretly on the belt or worn under the armpit in a shirt. This is a replica of a Sgian Dubh that can be used for both decoration and as a functional knife.

It is made of 1055 high carbon steel with accurate notches on the blade as well as a short fuller near the guard. The handle is made of wood, carved on one side and smooth on the other. It has nickel silver fittings that feature a thistle motif.

This Sgian Dubh comes with its very own leather sheath that will protect the blade from outside elements such as rust.
