APOC Atrim Survival Broad Sword

Designed by Angus Trim, a sword maker, machinist, and practitioner of Western martial arts, the APOC Tactical Broad Sword combines modern materials with a streamlined interpretation of the classic broadsword form. Its straight, broad, double-edged profile reflects the traditional style while supporting collecting, display, controlled martial arts training, and general outdoor cutting tasks.

The full-tang construction is forged from 9260 high carbon steel, a material chosen for resilience, flexibility, and shock resistance. A double cutaway on this single-handed sword helps keep the profile lively and responsive while supporting strong, clean cutting performance. The tang is triple-riveted to the grip for added structural durability.

G10 handle scales provide a dependable, hard-wearing grip. Made from high-pressure fiberglass laminate, the grip material complements the sword’s rugged construction and is well suited to regular handling and field use.

A lightweight black textured fiberglass scabbard is included and fitted to a MOLLE-compatible index platform for versatile mounting. The platform offers four slot options for sling or belt carry configurations. A notch integrated into the platform and handle allows for secure retention and controlled access, including inverted carry setups.

At 2 lbs, this broad sword remains relatively light for its size, giving it a balanced feel that supports handling, transport, and display.
