Chinese Jian Damascus Folded Steel

This is a double-edged Jian sword, featuring an ancient and traditional 8-sided straight blade, named the "Warring States Sword". It is a replica of blades from the Warring States era (476 - 221 BC), which were among the first where the sword was truly functional, making an impact on the Chinese battlefield. This particular piece is constructed from Damascus Steel, folded multiple times, resulting in a very lively blade pattern.

The handle and scabbard are made from high-quality ebony wood, while the fittings represent a blend of alloy and copper. Each is enriched with symbols and emblems from ancient China. This sword can either be sharpened for function or kept unsharpened for safe training and decoration. A free storage bag is included for safekeeping.
