Dragon Tang Dao Hamon Folded Steel Blade

This Tang Dao sword is a replica of the straight, single-edged Dao sabers used during the golden age of the Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907). It features a very narrow blade, made from Damascus Steel that has been folded over 13 times. This creates beautiful grain-like patterns, numbering around 8192 lines. Its hamon is genuine and real, due to the clay tempering of the blade in the forging process.

The blade has been polished with the hazuya stone method, which allows for a beautiful shine and a very sharp edge. The handle and scabbard are high-quality dark ebony wood, with fittings made of brass. The entire sword carries dragon motifs and is ideal for cutting practice targets or for use as decor.
