Shadow Dancer Nami Koshirae Tamahagane Katana

Shadow Dancer's Nami Koshirae Tamahagane Katana is a masterpiece, intricately designed with both aesthetics and function in mind. Forged from tamahagane, the shinogi zukuri (curved with yokote and shinogi close to the mune) blade is differentially hardened, clay tempered, and Sashikomi polished to reveal a beautiful gunome (waves) hamon. The blade is secured to the hilt with a mekugi.

In line with the gunome hamon, the koshirae for this katana features waves, as implied by part of the sword's name, "Nami". This beautiful and intricate design is reflected in the cupronickel tsuba, fuchi, and kashira. It also comes with an iron menuki along with cupronickel seppa and habaki.

The Haichi style tsuka is inlaid with genuine samegawa and wrapped with artificial silk ito. The blade is then sheathed in an oil lacquered saya with cupronickel shitodome and thick sageo.
