    The Maru Renshu Katana is a battle-ready, sharpened Japanese sword that is simple in aesthetics but very well-prepared for cutting practice, without any decorations or fittings that might distract the user or alter its maneuverability and speed.

    It is made in a maru way, which in Japanese translates to one-piece steel, increasing its durability. It comes without any groove on the blade to increase its weight upon impact when hitting targets. It has been through-hardened to further increase its strength and is made of 5160 spring steel, a material renowned in the sword community for its elasticity when cutting.

    The fittings are on the economical side but made in a traditional way, with rayskin on the bottom and a tight tsuka-ito wrap on the top.

    This katana is made for cutting and can even withstand use on targets such as bamboo.
