Swept Hilt Rapier – Black

This is a Renaissance European Rapier based on a 17th-century design. These swords were part of everyday attire and an essential part of a gentleman's education. They were most often used in resolving gentlemanly disagreements, and sometimes not-so-gentlemanly ones.

This sword is crafted from high carbon steel with an accurately slim and pointy design. It comes with a reinforced mid-rib, utilized for powerful stabs instead of cuts.

The guard is strongly attached to the blade, which reinforces the thrust attack. It features a black titanium-coated stainless steel guard with a pommel and matte finish that will protect it very well from rust. The handle is wrapped with a cord and is very slim, allowing the use of a glove if desired.

The rapier comes with its own scabbard for safekeeping. To reduce packing size, the rapier is unassembled and includes a metric wrench to tighten down the pommel and grip when assembling it.
