Shadow Dancer Tyrannosaurus S7 High Performance Katana

The Tyrannosaurus S7 High Performance Katana by Shadow Dancer is a refined and distinguished sword with a shinogi zukuri (curved with the yokote and shinogi close to the mune) blade forged from S7 high performance steel and oil quenched. This results in an extremely tough blade with high impact resistance. It is then oil quenched and mirror polished. The addition of a bohi helps to decrease the katana's overall weight while improving its point of balance.

Focusing on performance, this tyrannosaurus katana is equipped with a blackened iron maru gata (round or circular) tsuba with a tonbo (dragonfly) motif, symbolizing courage, swiftness, and fearlessness. Aligning with the theme, the iron fuchi and kashira along with brass menuki also has a dragonfly theme. Other fittings include the copper seppa and habaki.

A mekugi secures the blade to the wooden Haichi style tsuka covered with white samegawa wrapped rightly with artificial silk ito. This katana is completed by a scabbard with brass shitodome and sageo.
