APOC Wallace Smatchet Ideal for Heavy Duty Tasks

Smatchets are heavy and very tough blades that were designed to be used as utility tools as well as very deadly items of war. The design might have existed since antiquity, but it was shortened into a short sword or knife version during World War II. This is a modern Smatchet which is made to take on hardcore bushcraft and survival tasks.

It is made out of D2 tool steel, a material renowned in the blade community for its toughness and exceptional durability, especially for shorter lengths of this size. It has an accurate leaf-shaped design for shoveling, sharpened on both ends for cutting and chopping, with a pointy tip usable for thrusting and piercing. It has been titanium-coated to give it more durability against outdoor elements.

The handle is a G10 slab, a modern material perfect for gripping without worrying about slipping, with finger notches and a rounded butt to secure the hand. It is triple-riveted for extra stability and has a hole allowing for a lanyard to go through it.

This modern Smatchet comes with its very own Kydex scabbard. It is MOLLE-compatible, allowing it to be attached easily on belts or backpacks horizontally or vertically. It also comes with a belt that can be easily snap-released.
