Rapiers were elegant yet some of the deadliest swords in history. They were used throughout the 16th and 17th centuries and, while useful on some battlefields, excelled in dueling. This is a modern battle-ready rapier that has gone through rigorous testing and is capable of functional cutting and thrusting practice.

This rapier is made out of 1065 high carbon steel, having the right amount of toughness and flexibility with a hardness of 50 HRC, just what a rapier needs. It has been blackened for appeal while also aiding in its protection against rust and corrosion. The blade has an accurate ricasso that aids in the user's grip, and then turns into a reinforced mid-rib running all the way toward the tip, increasing the thrusting power.

The one-handed handle is hand-wound with blackened wire, with woven wire rings at the top and bottom. The metal guard is the iconic swept-hilt style with a long crossguard, allowing for good protection while making the weight balance near it for precise thrusts.

This rapier comes with its very own genuine leather scabbard with an engraved floral pattern on the throat and tip.
