Chokuto Shirasaya 1095 Red Folded Steel

The Ninjato sword is a straight, single-edged weapon utilized by legendary ninjas from Japan. This particular Ninjato is crafted out of 1095 high carbon steel, folded multiple times to facilitate around 8192 visible Damascus Steel blade layers dancing across its surface. The blade is full tang, double-pegged for heightened security, and has undergone appropriate heat treatment and quenching to achieve optimal flexibility and strength levels.

With features like its dark red color from special treatment and a bohi (groove), it enables a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing), making it ideal for Iaido training. This Ninjato uses a shira-saya format, which renders it without a handguard, seamlessly blending inside its hualee wood handle and scabbard to further enhance its secretive element.
