Shadow Dancer Dragon Katana Koshirae

The East Asian Dragon symbolizes power, wisdom, wealth, and good fortune, and is a central figure in many mythological stories across various Asian cultures. Due to its esteemed status and the belief that it brings good fortune, it was a favored symbol among the samurai, often emblazoned, engraved, or decorated on their cherished swords, such as the Katana. This is one such traditionally built Japanese katana sword that features a dragon motif.

The blade is crafted with the samurai-favourite shinogi zukuri profile and is made of crucible steel, a historical material renowned for its exceptional toughness and unique grain pattern.

The handle is wrapped in real Japanese silk and samegawa rayskin, reinforced with tough hishigami papers, and the fittings are a mix of brass with gold plating.

It comes with its own scabbard, coated with imitation urushi lacquer and fitted with authentically accurate horn fittings for durability.
