Guan Dao Sword Hand Forged Quality

The Guan Dao is similar to a halberd or glaive, but most recognized for its curved blade with a scalloped spine and pronounced hook. Often associated with the legendary General Guan Yu, it primarily served as a cavalry weapon.It is also known as the Reclining Moon Blade or YanYue Dao.

This Guan Dao is replicated based on historical descriptions. With its blade forged from high carbon steel or folded steel and mirror polished, the combination of blade and steel pole weighs an estimated 4 kg (8.8lbs). It features quality brass and steel fittings, making it powerful and durable for cutting practice. There are two parts to the steel pole which is separated for shipment.
