Dragon King Samurai Tactical Katana Improved

These values are reflected in Dragon King’s Samurai Tactical Katana. Forged from 1566 high carbon steel, the hira zukuri (flat and ridgeless) blade’s longer taper to the edge makes it ideal for cutting. The differential heat treatment process that yields a hard edge and more flexible spine also results in a stunning notare (wavy and undulating) hamon that adds to the katana’s aesthetic appeal.

This katana comes mounted with a blackened maru gata (round) tsuba along with copper-toned seppa and habaki. 

Two mekugi secure the full tang blade to the garolite (G10) handle—made from high pressure fiberglass laminate, a strong and durable composite that is high performing, lightweight, and resistant to moisture, making it perfect for the modern samurai. 

Completing the piece is a black lacquered scabbard with matching sageo.
