Dragon King Savior Katana Kami Deity Motif

The Savior Katana by Dragon King features the ancient theme of Kami, the Japanese word for the concept of deity in the Shinto religion. The artisans at Dragon King have managed to integrate this beautiful theme in a discreet and elegant manner, using it in multiple elements of the katana (menuki, fuchia and tsuba).
The 29 1/2" long blade has a specific hamon or edge pattern due to the clay-tempering technique used to process the forged T10 steel.

The Savio Katana is also visually pleasing due to the unique combination of colors and textures: white same (ray skin), black cotton tuska ito (cord wrap), silver menuki, silver seppa designed to absorb blows, deep blue saya (scabbard) and blue sageo (hanging cord). The edge is made from HRc 60, while the back is HRc 40, making this katana perfect for cutting.
