Dragon King Spring Sakura Katana – Cherry Blossom

This is the Spring Sakura Samurai Katana, named after its decorative elements and motif of the sakura, or Japanese cherry blossom. This symbolizes the warrior spirit and its ultimate goal in battle - to fall in a field filled with scattered cherry blossoms if he is struck and remains unvictorious. This katana represents the beautiful Japanese metaphor of the transience of life.

It is crafted from 5160 spring steel, renowned for its durability in cutting and for its stronger rust resistance. It has been thoroughly hardened to a level of 57 HRC, an ideal point for cutting practice. The blade tip has a geometry designed for rigorous cutting.

It features a very tight and authentic crimson tsuka-ito wrap on top of a real smooth samegawa rayskin. Its fittings are each decorated with the cherry blossom. It comes with its own scabbard, lacquered and equipped with buffalo horn fittings.
