Z-SEY High-Performance LD Steel Tameshigiri Katana

Z-Sey's High Performance LD Steel Tameshigiri Katana is crafted for optimal performance and elegance. The shinogi zukuri blade, forged from LD steel, is vacuum heat treated to a hardness of 59 HRC, featuring an etched suguha hamon.

LD steel is chosen for its resistance to cracks, abrasions, wear, and rust. The blade's hardness is balanced to prevent fracturing.

The katana includes a blackened iron maru gata tsuba, gold-finished brass fuchi, kashira, and menuki detailed with flowers and leaves, along with copper seppa and habaki. The blade is secured to the handmade Haichi style tsuka with one mekugi, covered with white samegawa and wrapped with artificial silk ito. The saya features horn fittings, brass shitodome, and a thick sageo.
