    The term "Kodachi (こだち)" can be translated to small or short tachi. Regarded as one of the traditional samurai swords used during feudal Japan, this weapon is increasingly popular due to its presence in pop culture.

    This Kodachi from JKOO is hand forged from folded steel and has a shinogi zukuri blade with bohi (fuller) to decrease the weight of the sword. Due to the differentially hardened clay tempered process, the hada and hamon are easily visible after the full tang blade has been mirror polished by hand.

    Combined with the elegant brass fittings and saya (scabbard) made of high quality ebony, this sophisticated looking tachi is a must have for any collector.
